Alidrain® prefabricated vertical drains (PVD) comprises a synthetic drainage core wrapped with a durable fabric of excellent filtration properties for accelerated consolidation of soft soil. Accelerated consolidation removes excess pore pressures quickly from soft foundation soil increasing the foundation shear strength to support embankment and fill loadings.
